This course is designed for:

  • Couples who are in a serious relationship, engaged, or married (register as a couple; one price for both!)
  • People interested in applying the unifying teachings of the Baha'i Faith in practical ways to their relationship (not necessary to be a Baha'i) as well as marriage education materials and videos
  • Those interested in tuning up, deepening, and expanding their ability to communicate effectively together
  • Those wanting to establish consultation as a firm part of their relationship for building understanding and making decisions


Communication: Making changes in communication patterns is not easy, but it is very rewarding and often joyful. Your words can deeply and lovingly connect your hearts and souls.

Consultation: Using the skill and principles of consultation helps you to understand one another more clearly and to make unified decisions.

Topics: The course cannot address every possible topic in your relationship or marriage; however, good communication and consultation skills can help you with addressing every topic. In addition, some of the practical exercises in the course will let you choose topics of importance to you.

Format: This is primarily a self-guided, self-study course. You can go through the course in a linear way, or you can simply choose the sections that are most useful to you at any time. Effective consultation is built on good communication skills, so the sections are laid out in that order, with communication first.
