Who is this course for?

Everyone is invited to join this learning-in-action and practical exploration of spiritual concepts in an online and group meeting course. It is designed to deepen connections and build families and communities through friendship, humor, laughter, fun, joy, hospitality, and appreciating the oneness of humanity.

We encourage all sorts of groups to form and register, such as: Friends who want to deepen their connection; Neighbors; Community service collaborators; Parents and children; Couples; Coworkers; and more! If you don't have a group organized before registering, we will do our best to help you join or form one.

Groups can be in-person locally or members who join via internet connections. Is there a friend you've lost touch with? Is there a neighborhood or community member you want to get to know better? Do you want humor and laughter as a regular part of your life? Do you want to build your hospitality skills? Come join us!

Cost to Participate in the Course

We want to welcome everyone to this course who wishes to participate. This course invites you to commit time, effort, and money. However, we do not want financial difficulties to prevent registration. If you, your family, or a group you form cannot afford part or all of the fee, there are coupon codes available for financial aid. Inspiration from the Course

Each Unit includes music, general information, quotations, videos, activities, and reflection questions!

  • “Set your faces towards unity, and let the radiance of its light shine upon you. Gather ye together….” Bahá’u’lláh

  • “Humor is about shared experiences and a feeling of belonging. It improves our mood through social connections. And when we feel less alone, we feel stronger.” Rev. Susan Sparks

  • “Play adds the element of enjoyment to our activities by pulling us toward being present in the moment. It may include a degree of spontaneity, creativity, humor, excitement, challenge, or silliness. A playful heart brings a measure of lightness, even in moments filled with seriousness.” Dr. Robert S. Paul

  • "Hospitality in the home is a most important way of learning about the outside world. People bring into the home other customs, opinions and ways of doing things, and children as well as adults widen their horizons in increased understanding of the world of human beings.” Agnes Ghaznavi

  • “…[F]oster friendships founded on cooperation and reciprocity. … [F]orm those bonds of true friendship that befit companions on a spiritual journey. … looking to ever extend the circle of friendship more widely.” Universal House of Justice
