Come Learn to Fly!

“The world of humanity has two wings—one is women and the other men. Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly. Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible. Not until the world of women becomes equal to the world of men in the acquisition of virtues and perfections, can success and prosperity be attained as they ought to be.” (‘Abdu’l-Bahá, Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, #227)

Angela and Justin Nevill

Facilitators

Angela and Justin started their family in 2001 when they got married on Earth Day. They knew of each other as children but didn't become true friends until they served together as coordinators of a Baha'i-inspired arts program. They currently have 5 biological children and one bonus child, ranging in age from kindergarten to college. Angela serves on the local administrative body for the Baha'is in her area and has also been a children's class teacher and junior youth animator. They host monthly youth nights with their teenage children. Angela worked as a pediatric occupational therapist before becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom. Justin has started several companies and worked for numerous tech startups throughout his career. Currently, Justin and Angela are working to build a community rideshare service together in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. If you don't see them in the house working on logistics, you may find Angela in the yard, working out at Burn Bootcamp, or doing yoga. When Justin's not engaged in an entrepreneurial pursuit or cooking for the family, you may find him involved with a men's support group or taking his kids on an adventure of some type. They are both excited to share their experience and facilitate exploring the journey of creating a marriage and family with the guidance that God has provided.
