Nava Ghalili-Wuorenma is the author of the “Purify My Heart” curriculum, taught around the world and developed over 20 years. It is the only published curriculum dedicated to youth and chastity. Through the wisdom of the Baháʼí Writings, it addresses the real questions young people face today with an engaging, fun approach for teens and young adults—spiritually empowering and guiding them to make informed choices.
Emmy-nominated television journalist Nava Ghalili-Wuorenma became, next to Oprah Winfrey, the youngest news anchor in American television history. The leading youth-empowerment activist and go-to expert on Gen Z and Millennial populations has been a motivational speaker since age 13. Sought out for senior-level advisory roles in government and intelligence agencies abroad for her groundbreaking research, Nava, a youth radicalization and extremism expert, speaks internationally on the root causes and dangers of youth radicalization and extremist movements, whether political, racial, religious, or ideological, in the United States and globally. She speaks at universities and colleges to youth and also consults organizations and companies on Gen Z/Millennial hires, sharing her years of research and insights into the youth population. Her podcast, Undaunted (executive produced by actor Rainn Wilson from the hit series "The Office"), which she produces and hosts, brings on the biggest youth changemakers from around the globe.
Nava provides private public speaking coaching, and her clients range from female politicians, entrepreneurs, and business professionals to teenagers worldwide. She serves on the Board of Advisors for the non-profit Mona Foundation, which focuses on women's education.
Alongside a double degree in Management and Marketing from Australia and a degree in Journalism from Harvard University, Nava holds a master's in Comparative Politics (Middle East Conflict) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Nava is married to Blake, and they have two young children, Solace and Justice. They have been running separate moms and dads children's classes for Solace since he was 6 months old, and he is now 7 years old! They have a roster of 25 children who have been in the class since infancy, and they have now included their parents in a once-a-month "Soul Date Night," where parents study Ruhi Book 1 (facilitated by Nava) while their children continue attending their children's classes. They often have 50 people attend.
