About This Course

Does it appeal to you to be able to breathe and not feel pulled in so many directions? Being “busy” is part of life for most people on the planet. For members of the Baha’i Faith or people deeply engaged in efforts to make the world a better place, deciding which community-building activities to pursue can sometimes feel overwhelming. It’s wise to pause and reflect on the sacred balance of living a joyful life that deeply considers personal well-being and the needs of marriage, family, and home.

Individuals, couples, and families are welcome to participate in this course, which invites reflection, study of spiritual guidance, consultation, and the development of new plans of action.

You will study materials and discuss the course content in a weekly Zoom meeting.

Karen Tucker Lynch

Facilitator

Hi, I’m Karen Tucker Lynch, a professional life coach, family communication specialist, and your facilitator and companion on this learning journey. Through my company, Dawn of Well-Being (dawnofwellbeing.net), I collaborate with Bob Lynch, my husband of more than 40 years), to help individuals, couples, and families develop new skills, discover creative approaches to conflict, and explore new possibilities for growth and unity. I hold a Master’s degree in Group and Family Communication, which has supported my ability to thoughtfully integrate the Baha’i Writings, laws, and principles into my professional work, education, and many years of service. I’m deeply committed to integrating the Baha’i principles of marriage and family into practical, everyday application. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals and families improve the quality of their relationships, marriages, and family unity through the application of the Baha’i teachings. Through my lived and professional experiences, I continue to be inspired and committed to strengthening marriages, families, and communities with humility, hope, and practical care. Bob and I have been married for 40 years, and our family includes adult children, daughters-in-love, a grandchild, and a wider family of choice. I look forward to learning alongside you as we explore ways to nurture healthy marriages and stronger communities.

Julia Sabet

Facilitator

Hi! I'm Julia Sabet, nutrition scientist turned relationship coach. With a wealth of experience teaching and facilitating a variety of subjects, from nutrition science to Baha'i children's classes to relationships, I am excited to be your facilitator and learn alongside you. I learned the hard way about the importance of balance in life. I struggled with my marriage and ended up in a year of waiting, which forced me to reexamine my life and my priorities. I found an approach that gradually helped me find happiness within myself and my marriage, and I decided to become a relationship coach so I could help others achieve contentment and harmonious relationships (TwoSeasOfLove.com). Today, I spend my time doing a combination of nutrition science consulting, relationship coaching, self-care, Baha'i community-building activities, and family activities with my husband of 15 years, 9-year-old daughter, and extended family. I enjoy learning and meeting new people from all walks of life and all corners of the globe.
